Winter Arc is a study and productivity project. This page explains the main types of information that may be processed when you use the website or interactive dashboard.

Information used by the interactive dashboard

The current Winter Arc dashboard uses Google/Firebase services for sign-in and app data. Depending on the features you use, the app may associate your account with information such as a display name, task rules, completion records, points, streaks and attendance/progress data. This information is used to provide the dashboard features you request.

Google sign-in and Firebase

Google sign-in and Firebase may process technical and account information according to Google's own terms and privacy policies. Winter Arc does not need your Google password; authentication is handled by the sign-in provider.

Advertising and cookies

This website uses Google AdSense code on public content pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies can enable ads based on visits to this website and/or other websites, subject to the user's settings and applicable law. Users can manage personalized-ad settings through Google's advertising settings.

How information is used

To authenticate users of the interactive dashboard.
To save and display user-selected tasks and progress.
To calculate dashboard features such as points and streaks.
To operate, secure and improve the project.
To display and measure advertising on eligible public content pages.

Data minimization

Do not put sensitive personal information inside custom task names or AI-chat messages. The project is intended for ordinary study and productivity use.

Third-party services

Winter Arc may rely on third-party infrastructure such as GitHub Pages, Firebase, Google authentication, Google AdSense and an AI service used by the optional coach feature. Those providers may process information under their own policies when their services are used.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the project's features or third-party services change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
